Personal information

Tabella Finland Oy, later Registrar, business ID 0994913-2, Vernissakatu 8 A, 01300 Vantaa, tel: +358 9 6689 200, is as Registrar, responsible for the processing of personal data.

The owner of the personal data, later the Customer, is the person whose data are processed, or stored in the Registrar’s registers.

The Registrar cares about the Customer’s data safety, and strives in all situations to protect the Customer’s personal data in the best possible way. The Registrar shall aim to comply with all applicable laws and regulations on the protection of Customer’s personal data. This policy will help the Customer to understand what kind of personal data are collected by the Registrar, and how they are used. By accepting this privacy policy, Customer agrees the processing of personal data as described below.

What personal data do we process?

The Registrar process personal data that Customer has provided, or that the Registrar has received from public sources, including websites, in order to fulfill the Registrar’s obligations to the Customer. The personal data processed by the Registrar may include name, identity number or personal number (payroll reporting), email address, shipping address, IP-address and telephone number.

How we use Customer’s personal data?

  • For processing and responding to contact requests to our sales and support

  • To the extent permitted by law for the marketing of services (by e-mail and telephone)

  • To improve Customer communication

The Customer may, at any time, contact the Registrar and prohibit all direct marketing. With every post, we offer the possibility to block direct e-mail marketing.

The Registrar will only use the data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Only individuals, who need the data to perform their duties, have access to the data. The data will not be passed on to others organizations for commercial purposes.

As an exception to the previous, data may be transferred, under the Personal Data Act, to companies providing services to us, outside of the EU and EEA. Third parties are not allowed to use the data for their own purposes, and they must be committed to ensure adequate level of data protection.

How we protect Customer’s personal data?

The Registrar has several data protection methods to protect Customer’s personal data. To protect personal data both technical and organizational methods are used as security measures. The Registrar uses a strong TLS encryption protocol in its service, which ensure secure communications on the Internet. In addition, the Registrar has appropriate firewall and anti-virus programs to protect the network, and prevent unauthorized access to it. Physical access to the premises, where the data are stored, is restricted and users must be authenticated to access.

How long the Registrar stores personal data?

Data may be stored until otherwise notified by the Customer. The Customer may at any time, contact the Registrar and refuse all direct targeted marketing.

However, personal data shall in no case, be stored longer than applicable data protection law determines.

Review, update and correct personal data

In accordance with applicable data protection law, the Customer has the right once, during a calendar year, to be informed, free of charge, of what Customer’s data Registrar is using, regardless of how it is collected. To get the information, the Customer must send to the Registrar a written request. In accordance with applicable data protection law, the Customer must duly sign the request, and send it by post to the delivery address provided on the Registrar’s website.

The Registrar wants to ensure that the Customer’s personal data are correct and up to date. If any information provided to the Registrar changes, e.g. email address or name, please provide correct information by e-mail to helpdesk@tabella.fi, by post to the delivery address, or by calling +358 9 6689 200. The Customer has at any time, the right to request correction, blocking out or removal of personal data.

Customer personal data are not processed for direct marketing purposes, if such processing is specifically prohibited. The Customer has, at any time, the right to cancel any approval for the processing of the Customer’s personal data. Cancellation may be limited only for part of the processing, for example processing related to direct marketing.

Links

Registrar’s application may have links to other websites. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Registrar’s services at tabella.fi, or locally installed to the Customer’s environment. If the Customer proceeds via the link to another website, the Customer shall read the Privacy Policy for that website. Please note, that the Registrar is not responsible for the processing of personal data by other websites or in other websites.

Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy was made in September 2017 and updated in October 2017. The Registrar reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time, which are necessary to rectify disturbances, or to meet new legal or technical requirements. All changes to this Privacy Policy will be published in the Registrar’s website.
