Total sum of all companies (A00)

If Tabella system contains several companies, it is possible to take in use the A00 level -total sum of all companies. A00 is a simple group structure -group level.

The summary is created from the primary hierarchy of each company, i.e. in the company’s tree structure maintenance, the tree in the tab L1.

A00 can not be used for entry, only for browsing.

Note

  • The A00 summary is generated using the main chart of accounts - the first chart in the chart of accounts list. For this reason, companies using different charts are not recommended to be included in the same summary (A00). If this is necessary, we recommend to purchase Tabella GC. Tabella GC is a value-added product, designed for the group reporting

  • A00 sum is ”raw” -if elimination between companies is needed, it must be handled by using elimination column in the tree structure maintenance.

Excluding company from the A00

List of companies maintenance enables to define, if company is excluded from the A00 summary. For example, if there is a sales company, with salesmen and customers, it must be excluded from the A00 summary.

Additionally, if the Tabella GC and / or a Tabella Payroll company is in use, these must be excluded from the A00 summary.

To take A00 in use, check Yes -automatically run a total sum, and define name for the A00 level.

Save changes.

When the A00 is activated, or the text of it is replaced, save the A00 tree structure. Saving will update the changes.

Tree structure

From the A00 units, it is possible to create tree structures, in the same way as in the company tree structure maintenance. See Tree structures.

Browsing

A00 is located in the Content menu.

In the browsing the highest level is (A00), and the next level is the companies included in the A00 summary.

If the reports have no data, run the reports.

Changing the chart of account list.

Note

  • In the order of the chart of accounts list, the chart of accounts used by A00, must be first. If this order is changed, the System Admin is not able to make required change for the A00. Please contact the system support.
